OLDBOY Poster

Just got through the American remake, meh.....  It was OK, just a watered down version of the original Korean film.  Though it did follow the original manga a little more than the Chan-Wook Park version. I'd still recommend this as one of the most disturbing and amazing films I've ever seen.  Anyway I made a limited edition silk screen poster for the screening they had over at the Guild a few weeks ago and I still got a few left.  Just throwing that out there.

Princess Mononoke

Holy crap what a crazy last couple of weeks.  Anyway, thanks again to everyone who came out for the Miyazaki film festival this week.  As you can see I made a poster for my favorite of the bunch and it did pretty well.  It's available in three sizes (11x17 sm, 18x24 md, and 25x38 lg).  I got a few of the small ones left then the other two sizes are print to order (with a free gift).  So yeah, now it's time for me a buckle down and get back to work on the twenty or so other things I got to do.

Drunk Fu!!! Is the Best Fu!!!

So yeah, if you got nothing else going on this weekend.  Check out Jackie Chan's The Legend of Drunken Master bought to you by your friends at the Guild Cinema and ZombieBAD.  This 3 color silk screen print will be available this weekend at The Guild for the screening of said movie.  This is gonna be a very small run, 20 prints.  So grab em while you can.

Back in black with a whole new bag.  Well not really it just sounded cooler in my head.  Here's November's Now What? in all it's glory.  Cover done by Stephen McCranie creator of Mal and Chad and a generally awesome person.  You can also check out more of his stuff HERE. 

In other news, be sure to come by the Guild on the 26th and 27th for a showing of Escape from New York.  Where Jon and I will have another custom silk screen poster for sale.

Also if you happen to be in the greater San Diego area for this little convention I hear they're having there.  You might want to try pick up a copy of the exclusive version of this book for some extra nifty crap.

This weekend is gonna be a little Evil......and Dead......2

This weekend at the Guild, be sure to check out Evil Dead 2.  Should be awesome and along with this awesome movie will be the debut of the custom silk screen 16x20 print my friend Jon and I made exclusive for the screening.  I'm crazy excited for this.

 Prints will run 20 bucks a pop or you could win one at the raffle at the beginning of the show.

Whoops almost forgot about you guys....

Been sorta busy setting up all of my other online presence that I almost forgot about my little old blog.  Well anyway, here's September's Now What? in case you didn't already have it.  Then October is on the way, couldn't get it done in time for FCBD but alas my comic is always free.  You don't have to wait all year for it.

    This months cover was a lot of fun for me to draw, not so much so for Zak who cleaned and colored it.  Thanks to Roxanne Youngblood for providing the translation of my title and to Zak Abad for his tireless work ethic.

In Other News:  the Official Facebook Page  is up and running with slightly more frequent updates.  And later I'll have some news concerning some events and conventions I may be present for.

Has it really been that long?

That's what your mom said last night!  So anyway, yeah should have been done a lot sooner.   But HERE IT IS NOW.  August's Now What is available now for download.  Then hopefully, but most likely tomorrow, they should be in all major local retail outlets today.  Gotta give props again to Andy for creating this month's awesome cover.
